I have an academic education with degrees. Thanks to my numerous trips I have international experience.
I use both modern and traditional approaches and techniques in conservation, which allows me to mix them for best results.
I like the technical challenge. I worked under most simple and adventurous conditions (Australia , USA) as well as in the best equipped conservation lab in the world (CCI,Ottawa/Canada). Therefore I can intervene in almost any country and under almost any condition.
I speak several european languages which facilitates communication and caontacts to a most various clientele of any social and cultural background :
My work is always guided by the « Venice Charta » I like to go towards the artwork to see it in its original context, (which avoids many accidents due to handling and transport of the artwork), especially if ther is a cup of tee at the destination !
…and of course I can give you precious advice how to improve the environmental conditions for your piece of art
I love to explain my work without the « notion of secrets », so dear to my elderly colleagues.
Possibility of « first aid emergency service » for example in case of a transport accident before a vernissage…
I am one of the few icon restorers in western europe.
My delays are short and estimations respected. |
