How to have a Painting restored
Contact and Appointment:
I prefer to go towards the artwork and give a diagnosis on the spot. This way it is easier for me to understand the degradations closely linked to the environment an its circumstances, such as lighting, air quality, heating, relative humidity, protection, exhibition, pollution (smoke, sun, insects, animals …). The treatment depends on all these conditions and will be different if the painting is going to hang in a restaurant, a church, a museum, or a private houshold.

Estimation of Cost:
In examining the object, I can give you immediately an estimate. If you agree, I will send you the estimate within one week. It details the different steps of work involved as well as the delay of execution. The price and delays are always kept.

Intervention:
The intervention is done in my lab or in situ (on location) if not possible otherwise, or according to the wishes of the client.

Treatment Report:
After payment and after handing back the artwork, a treatment report will be sent to the client including the description of the intervention accompanied by photographs.
